My projects tend to transmit or portray my inner feelings, interests, concerns, questions. My work is very intimate and exploratory, with the intention of representing outside what is inside.
My goal is to represent outside what is inside
Lawyer, converted to photographer, born in Venezuela and currently living in Santiago de Chile.
Started her photography studies in Caracas at Roberto Mata School of Photography, and then continued her informal education participating in numerous workshops in Chile, and has been part of Javiera Infante´s Project Development class throughout 2021 and 2022.
Although documentary photography was always appealing to her, it wasn’t until she had to migrate, that she completely reached to it as a way to understand her new surroundings, and so turns her attention to explore places and live new experiences, while registering them with an honest gaze. This is when she begins her work centered in the everyday life, time, family and her new reality, that she is a foreigner.
Her search is to find beauty in the mundane through her photography.
